                    Hydropower stations are one way to generate electricity. The people who live in the world need electricity. Therefore people use many methods to generate electricity. The people who live in some countries which have many water resources use hydropower station for generating electricity. Hydropower stations are used to generate electricity in Sri Lanka as a country with many water resources. Hydropower stations have been established in Randenigala, Rantabe, Kothmale, and Lukshapana which are water resources most of the electricity needed by Srilanka is generated from hydropower stations.

                      I think Hydropower stations are a good way to generate electricity for a country like Srilanka. Because the maintenance cost is relatively low. Not only that environmental damage is minimal. Not only that farmer villagers are established around the Hydropower stations. I think hydropower stations are very important for every country.

                Unfortunately, some people who live in Srilanka don't know the value of electricity. As well as ministers who govern the country don't care about Hydropower stations. Some countries which haven't many water resource use different methods to generate electricity. But some countries have many water resources. Therefore the people who live in Srilanka should know to take action for developing their hydropower stations. Finally, I like to say, The people who live in the world should know don't waste electricity
